New president for Penske subsidiary

Phil Peck, the chief operating officer of Epes Transport since 2019, has been promoted to president. He succeeds Richard Kuehn, who is retiring, having helped to lead Epes for 23 years. Epes Transport is a business unit of the USA’s Penske Logistics, and is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.

Peck has extensive experience in the transport industry, having held roles in the moving and storage business for ten years before joining Epes as a driver manager in 1995. He has thus spent 25 years serving Epes in many capacities. The company has expanded its business from 250 trucks to more than 1,550 units in this time.

Peck played a key role when Penske Logistics, a Penske Transportation Solutions company that provides supply chain management and logistics services to other firms, acquired Epes in 2018. (amh)
