New multi-temperature warehouse in Austria
The Austrian subsidiary of Ludwig Meyer, Friedrichsdorf in Germany - Meyer Logistik Österreich for short - is planning its own multi-temperature warehouse in Vorchdorf.
At the site, which is centrally located between Salzburg and Linz, the company wants to offer storage services for food manufacturers and retailers. This marks new territory for this subsidiary of the logistics group that runs a Europe-wide network.
The planned building is the first warehouse to be built and operated entirely by the company itself. On a 13,000 sqm site, 6,000 sqm of storage space with up to 6,000 pallet spaces are planned. The Vorchdorf facility offers three temperature zones for storage: +4°, +1° and down to -24°. (sh)
