New future for Lödige's oldest station in Asia

Lödige Industries has taken over the maintenance of several cargo handling systems for Dnata at Singapore Changi airport, including the first material handling system it installed in Asia in 1979 (pictured). The agreement covers the Automatic Cargo Handling System (ACHS), Pallet Cargo Handling System (PCHS) and mechanical systems at the Cool Chain and perishables terminal.

"Our partnership with Lödige Industries ensures long-term operational efficiency, supporting growing cargo volumes while maintaining high standards," said Sam Gould, head of cargo at Dnata Singapore.

Lödige Industries has completed projects for Dnata in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, London and Amsterdam. "This decades-long partnership drives our ambition to maintain the highest quality in cargo handling solutions," said Ranga Jayaweera, general manager for Singapore at Lödige Industries. (ah)
