New direct USA-India link
Ocean Network Express (ONE) has introduced the West India North America (WIN) service, linking India's western coast with the eastern coast of the USA. This enhances ONE's market presence in the Indian Subcontinent, which has seen a 15% growth in export volume in 2022.
Since its inception in 2018, ONE India has expanded to 25 offices and 410 employees, offering 22 weekly services covering eleven Indian ports as of November 2023.
The WIN service will provide weekly voyages connecting Hazira, Nhava Sheva, and Mundra to New York, Norfolk, Savannah, and Charleston, with additional calls at Damietta, Algeciras, and Jeddah for further Mediterranean access.
The service, solely operated by ONE's nine vessels, aims to offer reliable and flexible shipping options, particularly benefiting the trade of FMCG, perishables, retail goods, and chemicals between India and North America. (pb)
