New delivery contract enhances position in UK
UK forwarder Eddie Stobart has been appointed by Morrison Supermarkets to provide transportation services. This contract is in addition to the work Eddie Stobart currently carries out on behalf of the retail chain.
The new three-year contract will see Eddie Stobart manage all transport planning and deliveries of chilled and ambient groceries from the two locations to Morrisons’ network of supermarkets.
“This further enhances our existing relationship with Morrisons. It is excellent news for Eddie Stobart and strengthens our position in the marketplace as a major transport provider for the retail and consumer sectors,” Owner Wiliam Stobart said. (ben)
