New access for digital applications
The Swiss freight railway SBB Cargo is currently working on a new digital platform that will give access to all digital applications. They include ordering, booking, transport and billing. Capacity checks and feedback to customers will be automated.
The platform, which will ensure that transport bookings can be more accurately planned, will be phased in gradually. This year, all blocktrain transports will migrate to the new order placing portal, and all wagonload transport bookings will run via the new platform in 2022/2023. (ben)
