Network launches advertising initiative in France


As in other countries, the shortage of labour and specialised staff represents one of the key challenges for the French logistics industry. Therefore, the European logistics network Astre and other partners have started a new initiative called “Le monde du transport réuni” (the world of transport reunited).

 

About 350 transport companies have already joined. With the help of an online portal and local roadshows, the initiative intends to underline the significance of the industry and present the diverse job opportunities it offers. The campaign focuses primarily on young people. Throughout Europe, there is a great demand for new labour in the logistics industry. (ben)
