Naming ceremony for Wan Hai Lines’ vessels
Ten days ago, Wan Hai Lines joined Japan Marine United Corporation Ariake Shipyard to hold ship naming ceremonies for “Wan Hai 365” and “Wan Hai 367”. Ariake Shipyard built those vessels, which are the first and third in the 3,055 teu series.
In line with its motto, “We carry, we care,” the Taiwanese shipping company made a donation to Fujisakidaidoen and Hiroshima Shudouin, two Japanese charities.
“Wan Hai 365” and “Wan Hai 367” are equipped with full balanced twisted bulb rudders and pre-swirl fin, and all the ships delivered are certified with "Smart Ship" notations, which improves the vessels’ energy efficiency and reduces their impact on the environment. (lh)
