Moving forward to zero-emission drive

Dachser is planning to put two hydrogen fuel-cell (FCEV) trucks into service in Germany in 2023. The forwarder will put a 27 t Hyundai Xcient truck on the road in Magdeburg and Berlin and a 19 t Enginius Bluepower in Hamburg.

The Hyundai Xcient truck, which has a total permissible weight of 27 t and provides 18 pallet spaces, has a range of up to 400 km, which means it can be used in two shift operations.

The Bluepower FCEV will be used for city-centre deliveries in Hamburg. This truck has a permissible total weight of 19 t, can transport up to 18 pallets of goods with its fixed box trailer and has an estimated range of 250 km plus reserve. (ben)
