Mosolf Group ventures into port logistics
Mosolf Group, a major system service provider to the automotive industry in Europe, has entered the port logistics market at its Wilhelmshaven site in Germany. The plan is to import several thousand vehicles a year with MG Motor Deutschland, a company with engineering and production plants in China.
The partnership includes the unloading of the vehicles at Jade Weser Port, storage, pre-delivery inspection and hinterland distribution. Mosolf Group has many plans for the company's future, including "developing a modern ro-ro car handling terminal," says Joerg Mosolf, CEO of Mosolf Group, "in coordination with state and federal policy."
