More than 1,200 flatcars
Transcontainer has signed contracts to purchase 1,230 new 80-foot flatcars in response to the growth of the container transport market that continued in 2023.
The intermodal operator and affiliate of the Delo Group will receive the new rolling stock manufactured by Russian companies in batches during 2024.
As of the beginning of 2024, the company’s fleet consisted of 40,800 flatcars with a total capacity of more than 130.100 teu, including 35,500 company-owned wagons, Delo Group said. (ben)
