More short-haul freight routes
TFG Transfracht plans to continue expanding its portfolio and establishing new short-haul services in 2024. This January, the specialist for containerised hinterland transport to and from seaports integrated new terminals in Kreuztal and Duisburg into its German network.
The Albatros Express will operate four round trips per week between the new hubs and Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven, augmenting TFG’s short-distance rail transport offering between North Rhine-Westphalia and Germany’s major seaports. The Albatros Express network currently calls six ports and 27 terminals in Europe. (ben)
