More parking space at Lübeck harbour
The Lübecker Hafen-Gesellschaft (LHG) has opened a new 25,000 sqm space for weekly parking at the harbour house.
It is primarily intended for truck drivers of freight forwarders who park their private cars there and transfer to a truck or tractor unit. The secured area is immediately adjacent to the harbour house and the access road to the Skandinavienkai.
The port operator is also planning two fuelling stations, one of which will offer liquid natural gas (LNG). In addtion there will be a pool fuelling station that can be used 24/7. The relevant building applications have already been submitted, LHG said.
LHG has been offering a parking space to the south of the Skandinavienkai since 2012. With the new facility, users are now closer to the harbour house. (ben)
