More P400 rail connections
With immediate effect, Kombiverkehr has introduced new rail services with profile P400 between the Netherlands and Italy. One direct train runs between Mortara (Italy) via Lötschberg (Switzerland) and the Greenport terminal in Venlo (Netherlands), and the other between Mortara via Gotthard (Switzerland) and Rotterdam CTT (Netherlands).
With the two new services, both available three times a week, Kombiverkehr now provides five rail transports to and from Rotterdam from Monday to Friday every week.
The German combined transport company will also expand its train service to the Belgian North Sea port of Ghent next year. Following an initial frequency increase on 17 January, the company will offer a total of eight train departures per week and direction from 7 February 2022. (ben)
