More logistics space at Strasbourg airport
Bolloré Solutions Logistiques (BSL), a subsidiary of Bolloré Logistics specialising in contract logistics, launched its first logistics centre dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry at Strasbourg airport in January 2022.
The 10,000 sqm temperature-controlled logistics centre is located in Skyparc, the Strasbourg Airport business park, close to airport facilities, freight operators, airlines, customs, and police forces. The entire project took only nine months to complete.
The site includes two 5,000 sqm cells that are temperature-controlled at +2°/+8°C, +15°/+25°C and -20°C. These cells are reserved for storage and logistics operations including processing air and sea export flows.
There are two pharmacists permanently on site to ensure that operations are processed in accordance with the public health code and GDP. ISO 13485 certification for medical devices was awarded in September this year. (cd)
