More freight capacity in Vitória
Brazil: Azul Cargo is expanding its operations at Vitória Airport (VIX). Under an agreement with Zurich Airport Brasil, part of the old hangar that was closed five years ago will be opened up for the expansion of the cargo terminal managed by the airline. The terminal will thus be 64% larger than its current size. When completed, the extension will provide a total of 2,465 sqm storing and handling cargo.
Zurich Airport Brasil, the Brazilian offshoot of Schweizer Flughafen Zürich, took up a 30-year concession in 2019 to operate the airport in the capital of the state of Espírito Santo. (ah)
