More engineers for automation system
UK-headquartered 3PL Europa Warehouse – part of Europa Worldwide Group – is beefing up its technical staff at its warehouse in Corby. The team of in-house engineers has grown in recent months with the recruitment of six new staff employed to maintain the site’s GBP 11 million (EUR 13.2 million) automation system.
Each will enhance the existing on-site capabilities at Europa Warehouse’s newest facility at Midlands Logistics Park in Corby, which employs 300 staff in total.
All new recruits report to Aaron Crosby, who joined Europa Warehouse in 2021 as senior engineer. Corby’s GBP 60 million (EUR 72 million), 220,000 sqm 3PL site is Europa’s largest and most high-tech facility which celebrated its first birthday in June 2021. (sh)
