More certificates for Dachser
Dachser has once again received certificates for its life science and health care logistics, encompassing its airfreight and distribution practices.
The logistics provider’s hub in Shanghai has been recertified according to the Iata Ceiv Pharma standards, confirming the quality of its airfreight transport of healthcare goods. Meanwhile, its hubs in Barcelona, Frankfurt, Kempten, and Mumbai have been awarded certificates for good distribution practices.
This is of particular importance in the life science industry because of the strict regulations on the transport of time-sensitive medicines and vaccines. However, after an audit conducted by a third party, Dachser’s cargo handling, temperature-controlled transport, and risk management were deemed to be up to Iata and GDP standards.
The company continues to work towards gaining certificates for all of its global pharma hubs in order to enhance its capabilities for safe and secure transport for the industry, Dachser said. (mk)
