MOL integrates part of its maritime business
Japanese liner MOL recently passed a resolution to establish the new company MOL Drybulk - as the merger of its small- and medium- sized bulk carrier business, wood chip carrier business and Panamax business (excluding services for steel manufacturers and domestic electric power companies) by a company split effective as of 1 April 2022.
MOL made the decision to integrate these business units a year ago. The practical integration process, which also involves measures of outsourcing, began in April 2021. (sh)
