Michiel Van Veen to head UPS Switzerland
Michiel van Veen has just been appointed as UPS country manager Switzerland. He assumes responsibility for the US integrator’s operations, business development and strategy in the Swiss market.
Van Veen replaces Iulia Nartea, who assumes another function within the company. Van Veen already has 21 years of experience at UPS Europe, most recently as country manager of Austria and Slovenia.
He summed up: "We value Switzerland’s potential, which is why we are steadily investing in our range of services, network and infrastructure in the country. Once again, UPS customers benefit from the fact that we have accelerated our cheapest day-to-day ground-based delivery to nine European countries by one day." (mw)
