Mexico attracts more international players
Bremen (Germany) -headquartered logistics company Rohlig Logistics opened a new office in Queretaro in July 2022. The company already has branches in Mexico City, Monterrey and Puebla. Michael Gerding, the regional CEO Latam, sees high potential in "the so-called 'Bajio region' in central Mexico."
Located about three hours north of Mexico City, the “Bajio region” spans across the federal states of Queretaro, Guanajuato, Jalisco and Aguascalientes. This dynamic and safe region in Mexico is home to companies of different industries from all around the world.
“Currently, more than 100 Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive companies as well as many different aerospace companies are located there,” Gerding adds. (sh)
