Man: series-produced e-trucks ready in H1/2024
The German-based manufacturer is starting series production of the new electric truck at its Munich plant next year. The company has already trained 2,600 employees in the safe handling of high-voltage technology and new electric components in more than 17,000 training hours.
In order to ensure the smoothest possible production launch, Man has developed a completely new concept with the e-mobility centre, which allows to produce the e-trucks as well as the conventional drive systems on the same production line.
The first series-manufactured e-trucks are expected to roll out to customers as early H1/2024. Man already has more than 500 order requests for the electric lion suitable for long-haul transport. (ben)
