Malaysia: double-digit growth for domestic cargo
Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), a private company that manages 39 airports in Malaysia as well as Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçan Airport (SAW), reports that overall cargo movements for the network of airports remained resilient for 2022, registering a growth of 3.6% to 1,063 million t over 2021.
Domestic cargo recorded a double-digit growth of 11.3% over 2021 to 302,229 t, while international cargo movements recorded 0.9% growth to 760,931 t. (ah)
