Maersk investing in Doncaster
Danish shipping and logistics provider Maersk has commissioned UK-based construction company Glencar to undertake comprehensive fit-out works at Mammoth, a 56,000 sqm warehouse development situated at G-Park Doncaster.
The unit was built by logistics developer GLP and is the largest and most sustainable logistics building in the North of England.
The GBP 12 million (EUR 13.6 million) project will include upgrading the existing office areas to category A standard, warehouse high level services and minor external alterations.
The refurbishment of the warehouse area will involve lighting, sprinklers including associated works, frost protection, fire alarms and small power. Works started in February and are expected to be completed by the end of September 2023. (ben)
