M&M expands in Serbia
Militzer & Münch (M&M) has founded a joint venture with the Serbian logistics company Invictus. With this move, the transport company that is headquartered in Switzerland intends to expand its existing network in the Balkans.
The partners plan to develop the JV into a major forwarding company in Serbia over the next two years. “Serbia is a bridge to the EU and is of great geostrategic importance, not least with regard to the new Silk Road,” says M&M.
Since many Germany companies operate manufacturing plants in Serbia, the JV offers promising options for M&M’s German branch. So far, M&M has offices in the following three Balkan countries: Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. (ben)
