Long HGVs expand European fleet
Freight forwarder Karl Jürgensen has taken delivery of two Krone long HGVs. The type 3 combinations - three-axle motor truck, actively steered Krone dolly and dry liner semitrailer - are 25.25 m long. As special features, the box bodies have double-decker systems and floors reinforced to 8 t load capacity by additional cross members.
Founded in 1928, the Karl Jürgensen transport company specialises, among other things, in Europe-wide distribution and procurement of general cargo shipments, partial and complete loads, as well as warehouse logistics and express shipments. The freight forwarder currently employs over 250 people at its two locations in Hamburg and Schleswig (both in Germany). (ben)
