Logista's European path continues
Spain-based Logista has reported its results for the first half of its 2022 financial year. Turnover went up by 3% to EUR 597 million compared to the same period in 2021.
Main drivers were improvements in the distribution of tobacco and pharmaceuticals in the Iberian Peninsula and in deliveries of convenience products in Iberia and Italy. Adjusted ebit reached EUR 149.0 million, an increase of 6.3% year-on-year while profit soared by 13.5% to EUR 128 million.
Supergroup, a subsidiary in France classified as an asset held for sale at the end of 2021, was divested in February 2022. Revenues from long distance transport (Logista Freight) recorded double digit growth. (sh)
