Locotrans purchases 50 box cars
Locotrans consistently upgrades its freight car fleet by acquiring cutting-edge rolling stock. The Czechian railway operator has therefore ordered about 50 new-generation box cars from UWC. The Russian manufacturer will deliver the vehicles by 1 August 2020.
Taking into account the earlier shipped box cars and flat cars for timber, the number of UWC’s Tikhvin-produced cars in Locotrans’ fleet will cross the threshold of 600 units after the new contract has been executed.
The company offers comprehensive railfreight services, including the lease of carriages and locomotives and “all-inclusive” freight transport throughout Europe. (ben)
