Litchfield named managing director
British specialist technology provider Freight Software Group (FSG) has appointed Richard Litchfield as new managing director at its Forward Computers, which is a British independent supplier of freight forwarding software to the logistics sector and which was acquired by FSG in 2019.
Forward Computers aims to provide an end-to-end solution for operators in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. Litchfield has 20 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector. Previously, he was group IT director at Europa Worldwide Group, and VP, global head of IS road logistics at Kuehne + Nagel in Switzerland.
At the end of 2020, Litchfield launched a new IT consultancy business Innovate Freight, which will continue without him while he joins Forward Computers. (amh)
