LIS targets Scandinavia
Posten Norge's subsidiary in Sweden has opted for Win Sped, the transport management system (TMS) developed by LIS, to handle its European full-load, part-load and general cargo transports. Logistics provider Bring Cargo International contracted LIS' Scandinavian branch to install the software.
After a one-year preparation phase, Bring's locations in Malmö, Stockholm, Linköping, Götheborg and Halmstad have been successfully connected to the system since May. The remaining twelve branches in Sweden, Denmark and Norway will follow in the coming months. This is the first customer for LIS Scandinavia.
While parent company Posten Norge focuses on the Norwegian consumer market with letter and parcel deliveries, Bring Cargo International transports both small and large goods to customers in all European countries. (sh)
