Lineage improves cross-border services
The new cross-border programme aims to provide more options for customers looking for end-to-end cold chain solutions in the North American market. It expands existing transport services, including access to multiple delivery points and terminals. Canadian and US networks will be linked by cross-border points in Hobart, Indiana and Burien, Washington.
Lineage, a cold storage and logistics specialist, will enable both TL (truckload) and LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments between the two countries. Transport costs can often be significantly greater than warehousing costs, making location and transport capabilities key competitive factors, Lineage said. (ben)
