Lenton Group buys YCC
Lenton Group, which has been majority-owned by GeoPost / DPD Group since 2019, is acquiring "Your Cargo Contact" (YCC), a Dutch specialist for customs clearance and international logistics. Headquartered at Schiphol airport, YCC offers a platform to provide real-time information on quotes, actual flights and the current status of shipments.
In addition to its existing European operations in Paris and London, Lenton will now the Benelux market and link its e-commerce online portal Hub-ez to the new platform.
Mark Lases, founder of YCC, will remain CEO. According to Morty Langslow CEO of the Lenton Group, “YCC has already demonstrated that is a valuable partner, helping us to overcome the Brexit & IOSS challenges for our international flows.” (sh)
