Leadership transition at Forward Air
Forward Air Corporation, an asset-light provider of transport services in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, has appointed Jamie G. Pierson as interim chief financial officer, effective 20 May 2024. He succeeds Rebecca Garbrick, who is leaving the company, but will remain to assist with the transition.
“On behalf of the board of directors, I want to thank Garbrick for her commitment and significant contributions over the last several years. Since taking over the CFO role in 2020, she has been a valuable member of our management team, and we wish her much success in her future endeavours,” said Shawn Stewart, CEO.
Pierson joins Forward having most recently served as CFO of MV Transportation. Prior to that, he held various senior leadership positions including executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ecobat Technologies and YRC Worldwide. (cj)
