Laurels for Rafed
Rafed, an UAE-based group purchasing organisation (GPO) for the supply chain management, storage and distribution of medical equipment pharmaceuticals, has received certification status from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (Cips) for ethical procurement and supply.
The company ranks among the first healthcare organisations in the Middle East to have received this international recognition. The certification was awarded after almost 70 of Rafed’s procurement team had completed more than 200 hours of training and examinations.
Sam Achampong, regional director, Cips Mena, congratulated "the whole team for their unwavering efforts to achieve this recognition.” Rafed is celebrating its first anniversary this November. (sh)
