Lagermax expands in green logistics
Lagermax has acquired Ambach Entsorgung, thus strengthening its green logistics division. The group announced the takeover on 16 July.
Ambach is headquartered in Pichl bei Wels, Austria, and has been working on waste management and recycling solutions since 2002. With more than 15,000 sqm of storage space and good connectivity to trade routes, the company is well positioned in Upper Austrian markets. Its portfolio includes everything from waste paper and plastics to commercial waste.
The acquisition of Ambach Entsorgung follows Lagermax’s green logistics division’s successful takeovers in this sector last year. Dieter Ambach will continue to lead the company in partnership with Roland Amtmann and seek to augment its sustainable waste management services and circular economy solutions. (mk)
