Kornwestheim added to rail network

European Gateway Services (EGS) has added Kornwestheim in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg to its network. The train connection is an extension of the synchromodal services to and from this region.

In southern Germany, EGS also offers connections with Nuremberg and Munich. The connection to Kornwestheim is provided by Boxxpress in combination with the connection with Munich, the company said.

Kornwestheim is a stone's throw away from Stuttgart, where a lot of (automotive) production and logistics takes place. In addition to three trains per week, EGS offers its usual additional services such as local trucking and port transfers.
