Knut Kokkeling takes charge at Cuxhaven


After a two-month transition period, Knut Kokkelink has taken over the management of the Cuxhaven subsidiary of Niedersachsen Ports (NPorts, Germany). His predecessor Hans-Gerd Janssen is retiring after 33 years of work for the port administration.

 

Kokkelink has headed the technology department in Cuxhaven and Stade since June 2017. He has been responsible for new building projects at the company’s locations. The engineer and his team carried out numerous projects during his long years at Niedersachsen Ports.

 

Born in Cuxhaven, Kokkelink gained his degree as a construction engineer at the university of applied sciences of Buxtehude (Germany). In July 2000, after university, he was hired as an engineer by the port authority of Cuxhaven, which was later to become the Cuxhaven subsidiary of Niedersachsen Ports. (mw)
