Kerry and Hengan form JV
Hong Kong-based Kerry Logistics and Hengan International, a major producer of hygiene consumables in China, have put their partnership on a new basis and set up a joint venture company to create synergies in business-to-business (B2B) bulk distribution and the wholesale market for medical, healthcare and hygiene products.
The JV will also be supported by the “Banitore” brand of products, which are owned by Hengan Group, in the Hong Kong market.
In 2020, the two partners worked together to cover the increased demand for pandemic-related medical, healthcare and hygiene products including masks, gloves and toiletries. (sh)
