Kay Kratky nominated for SAS board

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is holding its annual general meeting (AGM) will take place on 13 March 2019. Ahead of the AGM announcement, the carrier’s nomination committee proposed that the seven current board members retain their seats on the board of directors, and then began its search for an additional board member with airline industry experience.

The committee decided to nominate Kay Kratky as the new SAS board member. Kratky is currently an executive board member of the Austrian Aviation Association, president of the Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany, and chairman of the advisory board of Caphenia, a company producing CO2 reduced fuels. Kratky was CEO of Austrian Airlines between 2015 and 2018. (mw)
