Karen Klement to head sales department
The Pfenning Group, a full-service supply chain service provider based in Heddesheim (Germany), has recruited Karen Klement as sales manager. With effect from 1 April 2024, the experienced logistics expert will be responsible for acquiring and developing new customer relationships for the company’s contract and transport logistics segment.
With a 25-year career in the logistics industry, Klement brings extensive expertise in both contract logistics and business development. A graduate in public administration, she began her sales career in key account management at Deutsche Post and at Fiege, where she was ultimately appointed managing director of a joint venture for new customer business in the alternative delivery services division.
In the years that followed, Klement held various management positions at major logistics companies such as Kühne + Nagel, Stute and Dachser. (cj)
