Kanis to spearhead I&C growth at Imperial Logistics

Imperial Logistics International continues to strengthen its senior management structure by appointing Markus Kanis to the newly-created post of executive vice-president - industrial & chemical (I&C).

Reporting to CCO Sandro Knecht, and based at the company’s Zurich (Switzerland) office, Kanis will be responsible for developing future strategy for these markets, including establishing strategic alliances.

He will build regional sales teams to support business growth and, leveraging Imperial Logistics’ existing capabilities, will lead the engineering of bespoke logistics solutions for multinational clients across all geographies.

Knecht said: “Imperial Logistics has a strong existing footprint within the I&C sectors, which we intend to use as a springboard for future growth. Kanis’s knowledge and experience in these business areas will be invaluable in helping us to realise our potential." (mw)
