K+N to rotate for Leonardo
Leonardo, a technology supplier for the aerospace, defence and security industries, has contracted Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) for a period of five years. The Swiss-based logistics company is providing contract logistics services in particular to Leonardo Helicopters in UK.
The company manages the design, development, testing, production, maintenance repair and spares support and sales of a broad range of rotary wing aircraft available for commercial, VVIP, security and defence use, while K+N is responsible for warehouse management, production logistics and jig and tool management at Leonardo’s site in Yeovil, South West England.
K+N will also support Leonardo’s repair and maintenance operations, on Leonardo customer sites both in UK and overseas. (sh)
