K Line's new terminal in Yokohama
In April 2022, K Line and Daito Corporation will jointly launch the K Line Group’s first finished-vehicle terminal in Japan, at Yokohama.
The Japanese shipping group leases the terminal from Yokohama Port Terminal Corporation (YPC) and operates it at Yokohama port, which is a major player in the distribution of finished vehicles in Japan.
Besides new and used vehicles, construction machineries, and break-bulk cargoes, the terminal can also be used as a transhipment base for finished vehicles to meet a variety of needs. The new terminal will also be available to third parties. (sh)
