JAS UK gets wholesale licence
The UK’s medicine and healthcare products regulatory agency (MHRA) has awarded JAS UK a wholesale distribution authorisation, enabling the company’s UK division to connect with its more than 40 GDP (good distribution practice) certified overseas stations.
The logistics provider can now focus on expanding its logistics services in the pharma and healthcare sectors. It has also put an electronic quality management system in place to optimise the safety and value of its operations.
In addition to these developments, JAS UK recently opened a 464.5 sqm cold chain facility near London Heathrow. The company operates in 100 countries and employs around 7,000 professionals. With the new licence, it will be able to expand its service offerings in the UK and strengthen the connections between its international hubs. (mk)
