Jack Wolfskin's new digital interface
More digitisation at outdoor clothing specialist Jack Wolfskin: Since the end of January 2021, suppliers of the outdoor brand have been using the "Forwarder Booking API" to transfer new transport bookings via the interface directly into the booking system of a USA-based global forwarder.
The shipping and consignment information is then entered from logistics service provider's transport management system (TMS) into OSCA – thus making it visible in Jack Wolfskin’s database.
Documents are also transmitted this way. In February alone, transport bookings or shipments of around 500,000 items of goods were due. (sh)
