Italian Galardi and French Naxco groups merge
The Italian Galardi group and the French private Naxco group announced their merger on 5 September 2023. Galardi specialises in road haulage services for industrial customers, chemical products, and perishable goods, and manages transports in the fashion and accessories sectors. It generates sales of EUR 70 million and has 120 employees in offices in Italy, Portugal and France.
The Naxco group, active in the maritime sector, began to develop its international road transport business two years ago and has 401 employees worldwide. Galardi’s name, management and teams remain unchanged. The Naxco group will now generate a consolidated turnover of EUR 280 million, with 560 employees in 50 offices in 14 countries. (mk)
