Investments for Spanish carrier Trasmed
According to Spanish sources, Trasmed GLE, the Spanish affiliate of the Grimaldi Group, is planning to invest about EUR 45 million in 2023, which will be used for the company’s logistics and infrastructure segments and to support its shipping fleet.
Currently, Trasmed has its own fleet of five vessels, in which it has invested around EUR 100 million since its foundation. For instance, it has installed exhaust gas purifiers (scrubbers), which significantly reduce polluting emissions. Of Transmed’s five ships, three have already completed these upgrades and a fourth vessel is now in the shipyard for this purpose. (sh)
