Intermodal terminal in Hamilton in operation
Toronto Tank Lines (TTL), part of TFI International, has opened a new rail transload facility in Hamilton in Ontario, Canada. Spanning over a 28,300 sqm site, the rail hub can accommodate up to 70 railcar spots, most of them 100% truck accessible.
Situated on the premises of Hopa Ports, the terminal will specialise in transloading both liquid and dry bulk food-grade products between railcars and tank trucks. It includes a truck scale, a nearby third-party tank truck repair and maintenance site as well as an on-site food-grade washrack for tank trucks and railcars. (ben)
