Installation for Vectura completed
Dematic has completed an automated buffering and sequencing system for Vectura, one of Norway’s major distributors and logistics service providers for alcoholic beverages.
As an upgrade of Vectura’s existing automated pallet warehouse, the intelligent automation technology provider has installed a solution that can process up to 150 pallets per hour and sequence up to 460 pallets simultaneously. The pallets are prepared and buffered on one level, then transferred to the shipping area using a lift and transfer trolley.
With a 52% share of the Norwegian market, Vectura delivers a total of 50 million pallets a year to wholesalers, the hotel and catering industry and Vinmonopolet shops. (mk)
