Innofreight goes east
Innofreight now transports wood chips from Belorussia to Romania. The new service runs on wide gauge rails with three train sets including 372 XXL containers. Thanks to the close cooperation between the railways, a train travelling from the Belarusian loading station to the Romanian border takes only 39 hours (900 km).
Innofreight, Rail Cargo Logistics Slovenia and other partners from Belorussia, Ukraine and Hungary are involved in the project. Innofreight’s operational activities focus on the development of innovative wagons, containers and unloading systems. (ben)
